The ancient post flood "land" of Magog [northern Iraq today] is the same core region that produced the next rulers of the Middle East .... the ancient Assyrian Empire [the northern Baban intransigent unbelieving world which will last for 2550 days [1260 days + 1260 days + 30 days] [Psalms 2, Daniel 9, 12; Revelation 6:12-17]
Satan, his beast, false prophet, and angelic and human followers will be in the open on the earth at the beginning of this time frame [Jude 1:6;Revelation 9:1-11; 9:13-19; 11:7; 12:3-4; 12:7-12; 13:1-4; 13:11-18]

The coming battle of Armageddon will begin with the Lord on the ground in the Jordanian wilderness [Bozrah/Petra] where a believing remnant of Israel will flee for His protection when invaded by Satan's beast in the little horn of Daniel's visions at the Middle of the 70th week decreed for the nation [Isaiah 63:1-4; Ezekiel 38; 39; Daniel 11:41; Zechariah 14:3-5; Matthew 24:15-16; Revelation 12:6; 12:14]
He will destroy the beast's garrisons surrounding the remnant and then proceed to Israel where He will rout the beast and his fola of the unfulfilled portions of the Bible prophets’ visions will play out
Satan is addressed by the Lord as “gog” in Ezekiel 38 [Ezekiel 38:17] and 39; and the human little horn viewed in Daniel’s visions, and in Micah 5:5-6, as the “Assyrian” will rise out of the same region to do satan’s bidding on the earth at the end of this present age

5:6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.
Revelation
16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
Satan is still brooding over this ancient "land" of Magog and his brothers .... waiting to make his last and final move to destroy Israel and to defeat the Lord in this present age .... but he will fail
His beast in the little horn will be destroyed in the lake of fire, the human little horn and his following will become bird food with their remains buried in order to cleanse the land, and Satan will be captured and imprisoned in the abyss for 1000 years so that he cannot deceive the nations of the Lord's coming millennial kingdom on the earth [Revelation 19:11-21; 20:1-6]

9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star [Satan] fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon [Satan's beast in the little horn of Daniel's visions, a human king of the northern Middle East] [Daniel 7:7-25; 8:9-12; 8:23-25; 9:26-27 [the other prince that shall come]; 11:36-45; 12:7]
13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads [his 7 kingdoms of the Middle East …. 5 past and 2 future] and ten horns [10 confederated kings of his 7th kingdom], and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. [the satanically empowered ruler of the ancient and future Middle East]
17:8 The beast that thou sawest was [was ruling], and is not [now is not ruling]; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition [will come out of the abyss to rule again and subsequently destroyed by the Lord]: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is
17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sittethers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

The destruction of the “great city” part of Mystery Babylon the Great [the core of western civilization] at the beginning of the Lord’s hour [time] of trial and judgment

8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed [the surrounding coastal waters of the “great city”].
8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star [Satan’s arrival] from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood [poison]: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise [caused by the massive burning and destruction filling the earth’s atmosphere].
14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth [by the 144000 Israelites who are sealed], and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people [Revelation 7:1-4],
14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication [this devastating judgment will have far reaching effects across the entire earth turning the planet into a blade runner society].f for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more
The Lord will revisit the land mass where the "great city" once stood and break it into 3rd's during the battle of Armageddon at the end of the coming tribulation period [Ezekiel 38:18-20]
Revelation
16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
Satan’s Ploy
When Satan saw that the Lord created humans of our kind in His image he immediately came to the earth for the purpose of disrupting and ultimately destroying the Lord’s plan for human destiny
There is a particular geographical area on the earth where this confrontation between the Lord and Satan over the human being has been and will be fought, and it located in the Middle East in the Mesopotamian region of the Euphrates and Tigris River basin
The modern map shows this early post flood settlement region where the Middle Eastern states of Syria, Turkey, Iraq, and Iran converge today
The Lord uses ancient post flood land identifiers for describing this same region where the end time drama of the unfulfilled portions of the Bible prophets’ visions will play out

38:19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
38:20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
38:21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
38:22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
38:23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
39:1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal
39:4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

39:13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
39:14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
39:15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog.

16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

The Lord is looking at the post-flood nesting of the nations with His eye on the same location where He will draw Satan and his minions including the melting pot of the same human inhabitants to their defeat at the end of this present age
Many miss this essential precept when studying the prophetic visions by attempting to trace migrations of the early post flood inhabitants out of the Middle East to other nations of the earth and drawing false conclusions with regard to end time events

The Lord will revisit the land mass where the "great city" once stood and break it into 3rd's during the battle of Armageddon at the end of the coming tribulation period [Ezekiel 38:18-20]

16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Satan’s Ploy
When Satan saw that the Lord created humans of our kind in His image he immediately came to the earth for the purpose of disrupting and ultimately destroying the Lord’s plan for human destiny
There is a particular geographical area on the earth where this confrontation between the Lord and Satan over the human being has been and will be fought, and it located in the Middle East in the Mesopotamian region of the Euphrates and Tigris River basin

3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles [of the Middle East]; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about [surrounding Israel].
3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
3:17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
3:20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
Micah
5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
5:4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
5:5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
5:6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.
5:7 And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.
The battle front at Armageddon and the destruction of Satan’s beast and followers
Revelation
9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. [these are fallen angelics]
9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. [these armies will come from Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan .... they will traverse the dry river bed from the Persian Gulf to the Syrian front at Armageddon]
16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
The Lord is looking at the post-flood nesting of the nations with His eye on the same location where He will draw Satan and his minions including the melting pot of the same human inhabitants to their defeat at the end of this present age
Many miss this essential precept when studying the prophetic visions by attempting to trace migrations of the early post flood inhabitants out of the Middle East to other nations of the earth and drawing false conclusions with regard to end time events
Satan is still brooding over this ancient "land" of Magog and his brothers .... waiting to make his last and final move to destroy Israel and to defeat the Lord in this present age .... but he will fail
His beast in the little horn will be destroyed in the lake of fire, the human little horn and his following will become bird food with their remains buried in order to cleanse the land, and Satan will be captured and imprisoned in the abyss for 1000 years so that he cannot deceive the nations of the Lord's coming millennial kingdom on the earth [Revelation 19:11-21; 20:1-6]
